BIBLE, MAN, CHRISTIAN SCIENCE
Man:
Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart (Psalms 119).
essence--Man is spiritual and perfect (Eddy, 1906, p. 475).
eternity--The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way. . . . Then I was by him, as one brought up with him, and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him (Proverbs 8).
sour grapes--If we learn that nothing is real but the right, we shall have no dangerous inheritances, and fleshly ills will disappear (Eddy, 1906, p. 228).
born again--Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3).
immortality--Weep not. . . . Arise. And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother (Luke 7).
revelation--Divine Science rolls back the clouds of error with the light of Truth, and lifts the curtain on man as never born and as never dying, but as coexistent with his creator (Eddy, 1906, p. 557).
