BIBLE, CHRIST JESUS, CHRISTIAN SCIENCE
Christ Jesus:
I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness (John 12).
Word--And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 1).
authority--What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out (Luke 4).
ephphatha--He hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak (Mark 7).
seed--Our Master taught spirituality by similitudes and parables. As a divine student he unfolded God to man (Eddy, 1906, p. 117).
watch--Take ye heed, watch and pray (Mark 13).
fruit--Take nothing for your journey (Luke 9). Your fruits will prove what the understanding of God brings to man (Eddy, 1906, p. 496).
