BIBLE, LOVE, CHRISTIAN SCIENCE
Love:
The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, . . . I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow (Jeremiah 31).
manna--[DIVINE LOVE] is my shepherd; I shall not want (Eddy, 1906, p. 578).
miracle--Love is impartial and universal in its adaptation and bestowals (Eddy, 1906, p. 13).
compassion--Jesus introduced the teaching and practice of Christianity, affording the proof of Christianity's truth and love (Eddy, 1906, p. 473).
comfort--And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life (John 6).
joy--I will dwell in the . . . [consciousness] of [LOVE] for ever (Eddy, 1906, p. 578).
