BIBLE, ATONEMENT, CHRISTIAN SCIENCE
Doctrine of Atonement:
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? (Romans 8).
demonstration--Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands (Isaiah 49).
covenant--Divine Love cannot be deprived of its manifestation, or object (Eddy, 1906, p. 304).
reconciliation--And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation (II Corinthians 5).
Immanuel--Now, as then, these mighty works are not supernatural, but supremely natural. They are the sign of Immanuel, or "God with us," (Eddy, 1906, p. xi).
Lord Jesus--We also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement (Romans 5).
oneness--Walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called (Ephesians 4).
